Rounds Codex, Inc. (“Rounds Codex,” “we,” “us”) operates roundscodex.com and, when available, the Rounds Codex application. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you join the launch list we collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, and the learner role you select (nursing student, medical student, or resident).
- Technical information. With your signup we store the browser user-agent string, and our providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamps) to operate and secure the service.
- Account and study data (future). If and when the app offers accounts, we will store the information needed to run your account and, if you opt in, your study activity within the app.
How we use your information
- To notify you when Rounds Codex launches and to send updates you have asked to receive.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site and app.
- To respond to your requests and communications.
We use a third-party email provider (Resend) to deliver messages. Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We will not add you to unrelated mailing lists.
Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and agree at signup, we send launch updates and announcements by text message using a third-party messaging provider (Twilio). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your mobile information is shared only with Twilio, our messaging provider, which processes it solely to deliver our messages on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service — currently Supabase (data storage), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (text messaging) — who process it on our behalf, and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information or share mobile numbers for third-party marketing.
Storage, security, and retention
Your information is stored with our hosting and database provider and protected by reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep launch-list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which we remove it within a reasonable period.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may unsubscribe from emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
Children
Rounds Codex is intended for adult learners and healthcare trainees and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “effective date” above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
